Where it all started…

Growing up, gold held a special place within my culture. It wasn’t simply jewellery, it was something treasured, gifted and passed from one generation to the next. I would admire the intricate craftsmanship, the individuality of every piece, and the beautiful stories behind the jewellery worn by the women in my family. Those pieces carried memories, history and love, and that is what first sparked my passion for vintage and antique jewellery.

While studying for my Bachelor’s degree in Law and Criminology at university, I began working at a local jeweller’s. Looking back, I don’t think I realised at the time just how much that experience would shape my future.

 Every day, people from all walks of life would walk through the door carrying treasured heirlooms, vintage finds and antique jewellery. Some came for valuations, others for repairs & cleaning, but every piece had a story, and I loved hearing each one. It showed me that jewellery is so much more than something we wear, it holds memories, celebrates milestones and connects generations.

Working alongside experienced jewellers also gave me the opportunity to learn about British hallmarks, precious metals, gemstones and the craftsmanship behind fine jewellery.

As I learnt more about the jewellery industry, I also became increasingly aware of the environmental impact of newly mined gold. It strengthened my appreciation for vintage jewellery, not only for its beauty and craftsmanship, but because choosing existing pieces helps preserve what has already been created.

From that moment on, I never stopped sourcing, collecting and admiring beautiful old gold. I would often imagine the stories each piece had already lived and wonder who might one day treasure it again.

The birth of L’AURUM…

Then came February 2026.

On my 30th birthday, I decided it was finally time to build something that truly reflected everything I loved.

A place dedicated to timeless jewellery with history, craftsmanship and soul.

So I registered L’AURUM VINTAGE LTD and started from the very beginning. Every part was built with care, from creating the brand and designing the website to sourcing jewellery and carefully considering every detail of the customer experience.

Day by day, L’AURUM VINTAGE continued to slowly grow. The collection slowly expanded, the website evolved, the packaging became more thoughtful, and every detail was refined with the same care and attention I wanted every customer to experience.✨🤍

Then came my very first order.And then another.

Knowing that someone had chosen a piece I had personally sourced and fallen in love with reminded me exactly why I had started this journey in the first place.

What it’s all about!…

L’AURUM VINTAGE has never been about trends or fast fashion. It is about preserving craftsmanship, celebrating history, and giving remarkable jewellery the opportunity to be loved once again.

This is only the beginning, and I cannot wait to continue growing this collection and sharing these beautiful pieces with you.

My hope is that every piece I source today becomes tomorrow’s heirloom, cherished, worn and passed on for generations to come.
